Ron-Vik filter washers provide cost effective protection for faucet aerators, nozzles, emitters, valves and pumps by capturing debris that would clog or damage equipment. Our standard filters are made of T304 stainless steel wire cloth ranging from 20 to 100 mesh molded into Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) or Thermoplastic Elastomers.

Gasket Materials

PVC: Black vinyl plastisol (PVC) in a 70 durometer shore A is used to manufacture gaskets that are flexible yet durable and economical. Note: If the installation puts this base in direct contact with any styrene based components please advise your customer service representative as our standard material is not recommended.

Santoprene® (TPE): A colorable thermoplastic specialty elastomer suitable for use in food processing equipment and plumbing applications in contact with potable water. Complies with NSF regulation standards 51 & 61, ASTM, ASME and EN681-2.

PVC - Polyvinyl Chloride Gasket

This pot-molded design is "self cleaning" because the cone-shaped screen is placed against the flow of air or liquid, forcing debris to the gasket area. Consult your customer service representative for standard sizes and minimums.

Thermoplastic Elastomer (TPE) Gasket

This insert-molded filter washer has a mesh disk at the center surrounded by an insert molded thermoplastic elastomer gasket that creates a seal when placed inline.
